Norwich Movie Makers meet at Wensum Community Centre, Hotblack Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 4HN on alternate Wednesday evenings.  Doors open 7.00pm and the evening begins at 7.30pm.  There is free car parking at the venue or on Hotblack Road.

Please bring something moviemaker-related to show or talk about tonight; editing demos, sound, titles, artefacts, script extracts, equipment, recent competition entries, a work in progress, short video tutorials etc.
Film Planning Session
21 FEBRUARY 2024
Tonight we are planning a club film to be shot at our session on 3 April. We will be discussing ideas and making choices about what type of film we want to create and how we will film it.
Multi-Camera Workshop
6 MARCH 2024
Tonight we will be filming an event using several mobile phones simultaneously. The subject will be people working with lego and talking about what they are doing, and for a surreal touch, actors are encouraged to talk very seriously about the lego but in a meaningless way! The resultant material will be shared and film-makers will use it to make individual short movies for showing later in the year.
16mm Film Show

Tonight Phil Slater will present a selection of 16mm films. 16mm first made its appearance in 1923, so has now been around for 100 years!
SERIAC Film Show
3 APRIL 2024
Tonight we present an evening of SERIAC (and other) amateur film productions. SERIAC is the South Eastern Region of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers.
Filming Session & AGM

Following on from our 21 February planning session, we will be making a short film in the club room. We will need actors and technicians. This will be followed by the club’s Annual General Meeting.
